i know this picture shows so much of our quarter's floor but it also shows that we're all happy to be together. ^^

it felt great to have stopped for awhile and placed aside all the schoolwork to be together, and to be one with God. i'm glad i didn't miss it.

to the young professionals to be: two more months guys, we can make it! haha...

Hi there!
Peace on this Chinese New Year 's Day!

Thanks to the boss of your "ACLC Blog" who kindly wrote and told me how to enter this new (for me) world of blogs, I decided to follow up on this whole process by sending you a bit of an update about my situation and plans. First of all, thanks to your prayers and the goodness of the Lord, I have now successfully undergone 2 eye operations to remove my cataracts. Hopefully things will continue to improve in this regard. I am planning to be in Davao Feb. 13 P.M. to Feb. 20 to follow-up with Jesnine Gevera ( our contact person in Kabayan) and Maam Joy Cabo of ISFI about the feasibility of my suggested Concert on March 25 with Ramon Jacinto's Rock Band and the possibility of inviting Bea Saw of "PBB" to join him. We are also planning to ask Bea to represent us as a guest on ""Deal or No Deal" as part of our efforts to raise funds for the Concert and for the project itself. Please keep this intention in your prayers and please tell Fr. Mike, your new EA, about it also. That's about it for now. I just want to see how this business works. Know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers too--especially those of you who are hoping to graduate in March. God bless you all. Love, Fr. Bob

An update on Fr. Bob Hogan

In an email i received from Kuya Cedric Naranjo of the SCRAM Community, I found out that Fr. Bob underwent brain surgery last November and is going to have a cataract operation this Tuesday.
Let us all pray for the success of this operation.

i know it's late. but here's a picture of the group last december for our christmas party. we really had fun! and we are all thankful for everything that the Lord has given us.

we all look forward to a new year with each other. one that is filled with more blessings from God.

the liquor ban

this is a picture i grabbed from chinny who grabbed it from her cousin airah. it had the caption of "woman". this picture contains a simple line which is the cry of a woman. a real woman only wants a good life for her husband and children. she knows that alcohol can be addictive. she knows that it can ruin their lives. so, she asks for everyone's support of the liquor ban before liquor does the real damage to everyone.

well, since this is a website for the aclc, it would be nice to introduce to everyone the club president. :)

she goes by the name of rhea jade. she's smart, of course but is very down to earth. everyone's a friend to her as much as she's a friend to everyone. now, that was not placed there to just make her look good. it was placed there because it is the truth. this pretty lady, simple and sweet, has turned a number of heads to look her way in and out of the group.
and we are all proud of her to have her as our president. she hasn't let us down and for certain, we won't let her down. :)

farewell father bob hogan sj

for the past two days, the clc'ers have given tribute to father bob hogan sj who is leaving for manila. everyone was sad and some were in tears because of the love, guidance, and strength
that the priest have given them. he has been a mentor to the young college students since clc started in the campus. we don't want him to go but because he needs to go to take care of his health, we all wish him well.
